Professor Mark Saltzman and his team at Yale University have made an innovation that could change, and even save lives. On November 1st of 2023, the Yale School of Engineering and Applied Science published the Saltzman lab's accomplishment of finding a technique to deliver treatment directly to deadly brain tumors. In short, nanoparticles are dispensed throughout the cerebrospinal fluid and delivered to the tumor; however, this is much more complex than it may sound.
